Beyond the Scale for Schools
They're already learning to judge their bodies.
Beyond the Scale delivers age-appropriate school workshops and assemblies that challenge weight stigma, body bullying and harmful social messages — while building kindness, confidence and respect.

What we bring
into schools
We create space for honest, age-appropriate conversations about body image, weight stigma, body-based bullying, social media pressure, respectful language, eating-disorder awareness and help-seeking.
Our sessions are designed to complement a school's existing PSHE/RSHE provision — not overwhelm it — while giving students a message they are often not hearing anywhere else: their body is not a character flaw.
Sessions for every stage

Years 9–10
Diet culture, weight stigma, eating-disorder awareness, misinformation online, self-worth and supporting friends.

Discrimination, myths and misinformation, algorithms, cultural pressure, critical thinking and becoming part of the change.

Beyond the Scale sessions are designed to be safe, thoughtful and age-appropriate. We do not focus on calorie counts, body weights or harmful comparison.
We approach eating-disorder awareness carefully and non-sensationally, with an emphasis on respect, prevention, compassion and knowing where to seek further support.
